Dreams by G. G. Marteluna

My darlings, I want this poem to encourage you to embrace your own journey and the eternal nature of the soul. ❤️

Dreams 10:07am by G. G. Marteluna 30th October

In dawn's soft light,
I let the seagulls soothe, all right,
The voice of my heart that I cannot quite reach,
For it begins where the stars don’t breach.

What would we be, immortal souls,
If we didn’t yield to the sun's soft tolls,
For we live in a kingdom vast and wide,
Together in sighs, where solace abides.

What does your voice now say to you?
Does it tell of paths old or new?
Whether you’re penning words or rhymes,
Listen and love yourself at all times.

Let your wings lift you into flight,
Let dreams bring treasures to your sight,
For what you do will live on, strong,
Like your wandering soul’s sweet song.

And the universe wants you to wake,
To love flowing in your veins to take,
Embrace the road, though thorned and worn,
Only then, will full joy be born.

Hardships are just hurdles there,
Tangled tight like an octopus’s snare,
But dreams will always light the way,
To your fate as clear as the sea's bright bay.
